Forschung und Studien: Transkranielle Pulsstimulation bei Alzheimer-Demenz und anderen Indikationen

Die Stoßwellen-Therapie Transkranielle Pulsstimulation (TPS) in den Bereichen Neurologie und Psychiatrie wird seit rund 30 Jahren klinisch in Studien erforscht. Sie gehört zu jenen nicht-invasiven Hirnstimulations-Methoden (non invasive brain stimulation – NIBS), deren internationales Forschungsaufkommen besonders stark expandiert.

Neben weiterer Grundlagenforschung und laufenden Untersuchungen zur Transkraniellen Pulsstimulation (TPS) bei leichter, mittelgradiger sowie schwerer Alzheimer-Erkrankung, sind auch  die Behandlung von Morbus Parkinson, Depressionen, Long Covid und Post Covid (post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 / PASC), Fatigue, Autismus, Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS) und andere Indikationen Gegenstand wissenschaftlicher Forschung.

Alle bis dato publizierten Studien und Arbeiten sind nachfolgend als Listen mit der Möglichkeit des Downloads als pdf bzw. mit direkten Links zu den Publikationen zu finden.

Zahlreiche neue Studien, Pilot-Projekte, Anwendungsbeobachtungen und multizentrische Untersuchungen befinden sich in Arbeit. Sie werden dazu beitragen, Nutzen und Sicherheit für die Patient:innen und damit auch die gesellschaftliche Relevanz der TPS weiterhin zu belegen und zu festigen.
