Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) – Studies, Posters and Literature

Research and Studies: Transcranial Pulse Stimulation for Alzheimer’s Dementia and Other Indications

Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) shock wave therapy in the fields of neurology and psychiatry has been the subject of clinical studies for around 30 years. It is one of the non-invasive brain stimulation methods (NIBS) whose international research volume is expanding particularly rapidly.

In addition to further basic research and ongoing investigations into Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) for mild, moderate and severe Alzheimer’s disease, the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, depression, long Covid and post Covid (post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 / PASC), fatigue, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other indications are also the subject of scientific research.

All studies and papers published to date can be found below as lists with the option to download them as pdf files or with direct links to the publications.

Numerous new studies, pilot projects, observational studies and multicenter studies are currently in progress. They will help to further prove and consolidate the benefits and safety for patients and thus also the social relevance of TPS.
